Gin Lalli ~ Empty Your Stress Bucket

Hello internet reader! This evening, I was lucky enough to be able to attend a talk put on for Mental Health and Wellbeing Week, featuring psychotherapist Gin Lalli. She was an excellent speaker with a background in science. For my own benefit, and for yours, here follows a breakdown of the main points made by Gin – permission has been granted to repost, with credit 🙂 Two parts of our brain, or two ways of thinking are the Intelligent Brain and the Primitive Brain. The intelligent brain… is our evolved brain, which lets us perform tasks such as thinking, speaking, driving… skilled tasks, as well as things that make us…

    Good Girl Burn Out

Hello internet. Long time no write. I have been feeling v e r y drained recently. And I have been struggling lots with coming to terms with this. For most of my life, I have been a high achiever, constantly pushing myself to do more more MORE. I am a fairly experienced and successful multi-tasker, who would never even consider giving up on a project I’ve already started. Like, never. I’m on my 11th week back at university or so, this semester, and I am empty. I have had a trying few months, and it’s safe to say I feel emotionally and physically depleted in many ways. I don’t know…

I’m currently traveling and have some time to kill, so thought I would sit down and attempt to catch and solidify all of the thoughts that have been buzzing around my brain for the past few days. Today, I’m going to bring to you a little spiel about clothes which are the wrong size for your body, and how to deal with it. Scroll down to the bottom for a quick-read list, if you don’t have 4 minutes to spare for reading the bulk of the text <3 Recently, I cleared out the wardrobe in my childhood room. I am a recovering hoarder (lol), and have only recently…

    Introductions

Hello, and welcome to my take on veganism! I’m hoping that the posts on this blog can be useful to you, whether you’re already vegan, would like to transition, or simply have an interest in adopting some aspects of a vegan lifestyle. My name is Linda, and I’m a university student in my early 20s. I use she/her pronouns, I’m studying to become a doctor, and I like to spend my time on Instagram and other forms of social media, when I’m not hanging out with friends (classic), dancing, cooking or doing boring adulting. I have always loved writing and being creative in my own little ways, whether other people…

Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Linda, and I’m a university student in my early 20s. I use she/her pronouns, I’m studying to become a doctor, and I like to spend my time on Instagram and other forms of social media, when I’m not hanging out with friends (classic), dancing, cooking or doing boring adulting. I have created this little page as a corner on the internet for me to collate things that may be too long (or inappropriate) for Instagram captions. I have also got another blog about veganism called Linda does Vegan, which I encourage you to check out if that’s something you might be…
