What nobody tells you pt. 1
**TW EDs** Hello to whoever has stumbled across this! Doing something a bit different, and sharing a word vomit on here. Might make a series of this, with 3 things each time. Maybe not. I hope it is thought provoking. If you feel triggered, please please seek help or chat to me. You will lose everything you were hoping to gain, and gain everything you were hoping to lose. It is all a scam. ~ This is my warning to you The first time you were called fat wasn’t even to your face. You were maybe eight, he was one year older. You’re 100% certain he has no memory of…

Will it fit? ~ recovery and clothing size
Hello hello! I’m currently traveling and have some time to kill, so thought I would sit down and attempt to catch and solidify all of the thoughts that have been buzzing around my brain for the past few days. Today, I’m going to bring to you a little spiel about clothes which are the wrong size for your body, and how to deal with it. Scroll down to the bottom for a quick-read list, if you don’t have 4 minutes to spare for reading the bulk of the text <3 Recently, I cleared out the wardrobe in my childhood room. I am a recovering hoarder (lol), and have only recently…

Vegetable noodles ~ vegan
Hello hello! Today, I’m sharing a recipe that’s so easy it shouldn’t really be called a recipe. This is to show you how easy, tasty and healthy vegan food can be. I’m calling this vegetable noodles, because that’s pretty much what it is, and very flexible. Feel free to vary the veggies and noodles as you like. Ingredients 1 red onion, chopped 2-3 cloves garlic, chopped/minced 1 tbsp tomato purée 2 tomatoes, chopped 3-4 handfuls of a leafy green such as kale, spinach or pak choi fresh coriander and/or parsley 1 courgette (aka zucchini) 10ish mushrooms 1 can chickpeas (or black beans, packet of tofu, vegan mock meat) noodles such…

Skipping meals – and why you shouldn’t
Hello hello! I just wanted to jump on real quick and write about skipping meals in recovery (although this frankly applies to anyone). I think many people, as part of disordered eating, may form habits of skipping meals every now and then, or even do so consistently. Today, I had breakfast/brunch fairly late at about 10:30am, and then had some errands to run. I got back home, had a small snack, and started to feel hungry at about 4pm. And I felt bad, as in my mind having brunch meant I shouldn’t have lunch, and especially not at 4pm when I was going out for dinner in a couple hours……

Why I went vegan ~ 2 yr veganniversary
The purpose of cow’s milk, is to turn a 65 pound calf into a 700 pound cow – Dr Michael Klaper Two years ago, I’d just decided to go plant based because of physical and mental health reasons. I’d been vegetarian/pescatarian and gradually phasing out animal products for a while, in particular milk – although I was on a low carb diet, and consumed large amounts of cheese and egg whites on the daily. I didn’t have any trouble giving up meat, as the connection between killing animals and their flesh ending up on your plate, was fairly straightforward for me to make. The whole story about why I went…

Introductions
Hello, and welcome to my take on veganism! I’m hoping that the posts on this blog can be useful to you, whether you’re already vegan, would like to transition, or simply have an interest in adopting some aspects of a vegan lifestyle. My name is Linda, and I’m a university student in my early 20s. I use she/her pronouns, I’m studying to become a doctor, and I like to spend my time on Instagram and other forms of social media, when I’m not hanging out with friends (classic), dancing, cooking or doing boring adulting. I have always loved writing and being creative in my own little ways, whether other people…

Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Linda, and I’m a university student in my early 20s. I use she/her pronouns, I’m studying to become a doctor, and I like to spend my time on Instagram and other forms of social media, when I’m not hanging out with friends (classic), dancing, cooking or doing boring adulting. I have created this little page as a corner on the internet for me to collate things that may be too long (or inappropriate) for Instagram captions. I have also got another blog about veganism called Linda does Vegan, which I encourage you to check out if that’s something you might be…
